Inter have officially signed defender Rolando on loan from Porto after he completed a medical.
Rolando Jorge Pires da Fonseca arrived in Italy this week, had dinner with Nerazzurri directors last night and underwent medical tests in Milan.
He has flown back out to Portugal to sort out some red tape issues, but this afternoon Inter released a statement confirming the move.
The 27-year-old “is ready to join the squad after their American tour. Inter and the fans give him a warm welcome.”
Rolando spent last season on loan at Napoli under Coach Walter Mazzarri’s orders, but made only seven Serie A appearances and two in the Europa League.
It is believed Inter have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
