Daniele De Rossi would be sad to see Southampton target Pablo Daniel Osvaldo leave Roma this summer.
“I don't know if I'm optimistic or not when it comes to Osvaldo’s future here,” stated the Italian international.
“If he leaves then Roma would be losing a very strong player and I will be losing a friend. He’s a good guy, on and off the pitch.”
The capital club are ready to sell the former Fiorentina player just two years after signing him for an initial €15m from Espanyol.
The Azzurri regular has been linked with a possible move to Inter, Fulham or Southampton this summer.
According to Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday, the latter have offered the Argentine-born forward an attractive €3m a season deal.
