Juventus switch Rome training base

Juventus arrived in Rome on Thursday ahead of the Italian Super Cup Final, but boss Antonio Conte cancelled training.

The Old Lady were set to take to the field at the Borghesiana facilities in the capital, but Conte scrapped the session as he was unhappy with the training fields available.

Juve returned to their hotel and will resume training this morning at the Centro Sportivo Paolo Cavoli instead.

Conte has called up his entire squad for Sunday’s game against Lazio, but there are fitness doubts over Andrea Barzagli.

The defender was ruled out of international duty with an Achilles tendon problem. Angelo Ogbonna should beat Martin Caceres to a starting shirt if Barzagli doesn’t recover in time.

Meanwhile, Mirko Vucinic and Carlos Tevez are being tipped to lead the Juve attack in Conte’s 3-5-2 at the Olimpico.
