Italian club Genoa have wished Andreas Granqvist well after confirming his transfer to Russian club Krasnodar.
The defender has moved on a permanent basis, two years after joining the Grifone from FC Groningen.
It is understood that Genoa have netted €5m for the Swedish centre-back who was also wanted by QPR.
“The Villa Rostan club would like to thank the Sweden international for his professionalism and work from June 2011 until today,” Genoa wrote on their official website.
