Having failed to prise Fabio Quagliarella from Juventus, Norwich City are turning to Andrea Caracciolo.
The club saw its £8m offer for Quagliarella turned down by the striker, who did not want to drop down to such a small side.
Sky Sport Italia are now reporting that Norwich’s next target is also Italian – Caracciolo of Serie B team Brescia.
He has only one year left on his contract and the Canaries are proposing a two-year deal worth €1m per season.
Caracciolo turns 32 next month and last season scored 18 goals in 40 games for Brescia, between Serie B and the Coppa Italia.
