Marco Amelia is confident Milan “will do well” against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League play-off.
The first leg is on Tuesday in Holland with the return at San Siro on August 28.
“PSV are a young side and their season has already started, so they are at a more advanced stage of fitness than we are, but I think we will do well,” Amelia told Milan Channel.
“The team appears to be in good condition and I think we will be ready for this appointment.
“We have a good squad and know Tuesday’s game is fundamental, not just in Holland, but for the whole 180 minutes of the tie.
“We are ready and concentrated for this challenge,” concluded the goalkeeper.
