After a summer of links with Italian clubs, Marco Verratti has signed a new improved contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
The player’s agent this morning tweeted a picture of the Italian international putting pen to paper on a deal until June 2018.
The playmaker, still just 20, only joined the French capital club last summer after a €12m fee was agreed with Pescara.
The midfielder was linked with Fiorentina, Napoli and Juventus on and off since the end of the last campaign. He was also on the radar of Real Madrid.
