Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco has confirmed he expects further signings before the transfer window closes.
Speaking after the 2-0 loss at Torino in Serie A Week 1, the former Roma midfielder is hoping for reinforcements.
“There will be some transfers taking place,” the ex-Lecce boss noted. “However, the game lost against Torino hasn’t really affected our plans.
“Perhaps we need something else in attack.”
Sassuolo’s biggest move of the summer so far was arguably their capture of centre-forward Simone Zaza.
The latter, on loan at Ascoli last term, was signed on a co-ownership basis from Juventus after the latter had netted him from Sampdoria.
