Christian Maggio’s agent has insisted that his client is more than happy in Naples, and wants to go to next year’s World Cup.
The 31-year-old has become a mainstay in the Partenopei side since his arrival in 2008, and his representative has claimed that the San Paolo side are definite title challengers this season.
“The promise of this season is great,” Massimo Briaschi told Radio Crc. “Christian looks back to his best under Benitez.
“The championship will be very long, but Napoli seem like the most reliable team to challenge [Juventus] for the title.
“Christian has been in Naples for six years now, so it goes without saying that he feels good in the city.
“His goal for this season is to play at the World Cup.”
