Mathieu Flamini has re-joined Arsenal after his contract at Italian giants Milan expired in June, claims the Daily Mail.
The Rossoneri did offer the midfielder new terms to stay at San Siro, but no agreement could be reached regarding a salary.
The 29-year-old left Arsenal on a Bosman free transfer for the Diavolo in 2008. It is thought that he has signed a three-year deal worth around £2m a season.
Flamini, formerly of Marseille, scored seven goals in 96 League games for Milan over a five-season spell in Serie A.
