Antonini also confirmed the news this afternoon by retweeting messages of good luck for his ‘new adventure,' while Birsa has been logged as a Milan player on the Lega Serie A site.

Full-back Antonini had already been linked with Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”13″>Sampdoria and several Turkish clubs over the last few days, but Genoa have won the race.

Birsa is a valuable addition to the Rossoneri midfield and the Slovenian already passed a medical.

The exchange with Genoa was to have involved Milan’s Bakaye Traorè, but he seems to have been ruled out of negotiations.
