The full-back completed his transfer to Genoa today in a straight swap with Valter Birsa.
“After 23 years in Rossonero, today I salute the team I support,” wrote Antonini on Twitter.
“The time has come for me to go. Goodbye my Milan, I gave my heart for you.”
The 31-year-old grew up in the Milan youth academy and had several loan spells at Prato, Ancona, Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”22″>Sampdoria, Pescara, Modena, Arezzo, Siena and Empoli” data-scaytid=”26″>Empoli before settling back at San Siro in 2008.
