According to reports, Prandelli is there specifically to view two players ahead of Italy’s next World Cup qualifiers against Denmark on October 11 and Armenia on October 15.

The Azzurri have already booked their ticket to the 2014 tournament in Brazil, so these two games will allow for experiments.

Fiorentina star Rossi had been a key figure for Prandelli at Euro 2012, but two years on the sidelines with knee problems saw him slip off the radar.

He is rediscovering his form for the Viola, scoring three goals in just two Serie A rounds this season.

Cagliari also have an impressive player on show, as Sau netted a splendid strike against Milan at San Siro.

He grabbed an impressive 12 goals in 30 Serie A games last season, which was his debut top flight campaign.

The 25-year-old already has one Italy cap under his belt in the 4-0 win over San Marino in May.
