Pjanic sees a different Roma

Miralem Pjanic feels Roma are at the start of something special after joining Napoli at the top of the table.

The Giallorossi made it three wins from three games with a come from behind victory at Parma on Monday night.

“The determination we have is different from that of the past,” the midfielder commented to Sky Sport Italia. “We can go far with this mentality.

“We have a desire to win and we have the quality. The Coach has installed a calmness within the team and I feel like an important member of it.”

Pjanic has enjoyed a fine start to the campaign after struggling to get games under Zdenek Zeman last season.

“I still have two years left on my contract,” the former Lyon man said when asked about his future. “There is no rush.

“Now isn’t the time to be thinking about a new contract, we have to just focus on the games.”
