Parma defender Felipe believes Milan’s capture of Kaka was the best move of the summer transfer window.
While Juventus netted Carlos Tevez from Manchester City and Napoli spent €37.5m on Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain, the Diavolo brought Kaka back four years after selling him to Real.
“I think Kaka was the best signing,” the stopper, 29, told Sportal. “He has a great desire to show that he is still a great player.
“He may have had to stop now because of his injury, but, in my opinion, he will do some great things this season.”
The attacking midfielder, signed on a free transfer after being sold for €65m, is expected to be sidelined for about a month because of a muscle strain.
Felipe joined Parma in July after spending the last three seasons at Fiorentina, Cesena and Siena.
