Milan striker M’Baye Niang has declared himself fit and ready for action ahead of Sunday’s Serie A game against Napoli.
The 18-year-old only returned to training this week after injury, but he’s placed himself at the total disposal of boss Massimiliano Allegri.
“I’m available for selection,” he told Milan Channel. “I’m always ready. I’m training well and I feel fit. When the Coach calls on me, I’ll try and give my all.
“I can offer my qualities to the team to win games, but there are other players besides me who are helping the team.
“I’ve already played as a central striker in France so that’s not a new role for me so I can do whatever the Coach asks of me.”
Niang may be needed at some stage at the weekend given that Kaka and Stephan El Shaarawy are set to be unavailable.
“It’s good to play in games like the one against Napoli. We hope to do well and to put in a good performance.”
Niang has featured in one Serie A game so far this season for the Diavolo.
