Roma and Lazio midfielders Michael Bradley and Ederson have come together to urge fans not to indulge in racist behaviour during the derby.
The Rome rivals play each other in the Derby della Capitale on Sunday, but the two players have released a statement urging supporters not to mar the occasion.
“Rome is the most beautiful city in the world,” the joint-statement read. “And us players want to look good in front of the whole world.
“On Sunday, everyone will look at us and we want to show that Rome is not a racist city.
“We hope that all Romans will enjoy the show.”
