Jose Maria Callejon has described what life is like for a Partenopei player in Naples, admitting it is ‘unique’.
The Spanish youngster joined the Stadio San Paoli side over the summer in a big-money move from Real Madrid.
“I feel a great longing for my family,” he told abc.es. “Especially my brother Juanmi who now lives in Bolivia.
“However, the warmth of the Napoli fans is something unique and that yearning passess very quickly.
“Football in Naples is a religion. On the street people stop me for autographs and for hugs.
“It all makes me very happy. Playing in this city gives me great satisfaction.”
