Udinese host Genoa in tonight’s Serie A Week 5 opener, as Antonio Di Natale faces Alberto Gilardino.
It’s a battle of the veteran hitmen at the Stadio Friuli, which kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT). Click here for a match preview.
Francesco Guidolin must do without the injured Maurizio Domizzi, Giampiero Pinzi and Zeljko Brkic, while his team is still smarting from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Chievo.
Udinese had taken the lead with the fastest goal of the season so far, netted by Maicosuel after 50 seconds, but Chievo fought back to turn the game around completely.
Di Natale had been rested for the first half of that match, but starts today with Maicosuel in support, benching Luis Muriel.
Genoa are still riding on the wave of enthusiasm from their 3-0 Derby della Lanterna victory over Sampdoria, though it was somewhat dulled by a 0-0 against Livorno on Saturday.
Coach Fabio Liverani has several important players missing, as Thomas Manfredini is suspended with Juraj Kucka and Luca Antonelli on the treatment table.
Gilardino leads the way with 19-year-old Senegalese striker Pape Moussa Konate and the midfield reins are in the hands of free kick specialist Francesco Lodi.
Konate became famous last summer by scoring five goals in the London 2012 Olympics.
It will take something very special for Genoa to win here, as Udinese’s unbeaten Serie A home record stretches back to the start of last season.
Between Serie A and B Genoa have won here four times, drawn six and lost 12.
