There are seven Serie A players called up for Argentina’s international games against Peru and Uruguay, including Rodrigo Palacio.
Coach Alejandro Sabella has released his list of players for the World Cup qualifiers on October 11 and 15.
Inter are strongly represented with Hugo Campagnaro, Ricky Alvarez and striker Palacio.
Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain and Federico Fernandez are included, with Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar and Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia.
There are question marks over Biglia, who is currently out injured after spraining his ankle in the last international game for Argentina.
