Roberto Mancini is practically the new Coach of Galatasaray and his first game will be on Wednesday against Juventus.
The negotiations had been going on for several days, as the former Manchester City and Inter manager was first pick after Fatih Terim was fired in a contract dispute.
This evening Mancini flew in to Istanbul to complete the paperwork and the official Galatasaray Twitter account released a photograph of the Italian sitting with Chief Executive Lufti Aribogan.
Mancio’s first match in charge will be on Wednesday night, when Galatasaray visit the Juventus Stadium in Turin for the Champions League.
Among the players at his disposal in Turkey are Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba.
