Gokhan Inler’s agent has called Napoli’s performance against Arsenal yesterday ‘disastrous’.
The Partenopei lost 2-0 to the north London side in their second Champions League group stage match.
But despite the loss, the midfielder’s representative has claimed that fans at Stadio San Paolo shouldn’t fret too much.
“Napoli have begun the season well so there were high hopes,” Dino Lamberti told Radio Crc.
“But the beginning of the game was disastrous. It seemed like there was no reference point.
“The Champions League is the top competition you can play, but when you come up against a team like Arsenal it is always going to be difficult.
“But I don’t think the fans should worry – they have to help the team.
“I think Benitez’s experience will help in the next game against Livorno.”
