Struggling Serie B outfit Padova are reportedly in talks with available veteran striker Tommaso Rocchi.
There was contact between the two parties on Wednesday, even if Padova don’t currently have a spot available for him in their squad right now.
Padova, though, are keen to net the player so that he can train with them between now and when the January transfer window opens.
Padova have struggled for goals this season given that they have netted just two in six games so far.
They are also presently bottom of the standings after collecting just one point so far this season.
Rocchi, 35, is available as his contract with Inter expired in the summer.
The forward, formerly of Empoli, joined the Nerazzurri in January after almost a decade with capital outfit Lazio.
Over the last three seasons in Serie A, Rocchi has scored 11 goals in 54 appearances.
