Gian Piero Gasperini has insisted that three days is not enough time to establish Genoa in his own image.

The 55-year-old replaced Fabio Liverani this week for his second spell at the Grifone, but the tactician has claimed that this weekend’s game with Catania has perhaps come too soon.

“I don’t think you can do much in three days,” he told a Press conference.

“There are some tasks in particular that take a while to perfect.

“However, I am satisfied with the work we’ve done this week, and I’m more confident going into Catania than I was on Monday.

“This team is completely different to the one I Coached in the past.”
