Roma have confirmed that that they will travel to Indonesia in November to play a friendly with an Indonesian Select XI.
The Giallorossi will play the non-competitive match during the international break, which will take place on November 14 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
“We’re very excited to bring AS Roma to Indonesia this November. Indonesia is one of the world’s biggest markets for football and we have no doubt that the match will excite local football fans,” explained Arif Wicaksono, CEO of Nine Sport.
Roma CEO Italo Zanzi meanwhile admitted: “We are committed to maximizing Roma's global reach. This match is a very important step in building a sustainable presence in Indonesia and Asia.
“We have a large and growing fan base in Indonesia and look forward to giving them the chance to experience Roma live in Jakarta.”
