The Nerazzurri host the capital club on Saturday looking for their fifth win of the campaign.

"Based on what the two teams have shown so far, it will be a great game, a good show,” he told a Press conference.

“Inter and Roma are two sides that have so far created a lot and given away very little, and they've done even better than us. It will be a great game, an attractive one.

"Exams are never over for me. It's a test for us to become even more competitive. It's a interesting point that, after tomorrow, we'll be the team who's played the most matches against the top sides so far.

“Winning tomorrow would certainly give even more belief in what we're doing. Inter are playing great football, just like Roma, and it's no coincidence they've won six matches.

“At this moment in time Inter and Roma are the two teams that are playing the best football."

The Coach was then asked about Hugo Campagnaro and Jonathan, both missing from the squad list: "Campagnaro has a problem under his foot which is causing him grief – Jonathan has a slight muscle complaint, he tried but didn't make it. And I want my players to be fully fit.

“Will the absence of Campagnaro have an impact on my tactical decisions? I've got an established system defensively, and some players are more suited than others to the way I want to play.

“Campagnaro would have adapted better in certain areas defensively for tomorrow's match, plus he's more familiar with my ideas, but I believe there are players who can do well because I've seen them perform in training.

“And I change very little in my way of thinking, everyone who plays knows what to do when we have the ball and when we don't. Rolando and Pereira, the replacements? They could be, but there could also be another alternative. Samuel? Not in this instance."

Mazzarri then commented on his opposite number Rudi Garcia.

“I think he's solid, the players believe in him, that means he's working well. I've got a good feeling about him, for the way he conducts himself in general and the way the players talk about him.

“In terms of their technical ability I expected Roma to be able to do well. Garcia's doing an excellent job, but so are we."
