Lazio star Hernanes is in no rush to sign a new contract with the capital city outfit.
The 28-year-old is one of the club’s most highly rated players and he is understood to be on the wish list of a number of European giants.
Asked by the Gazzetta dello Sport about a possible renewal with the Biancocelesti, he insisted that was not at the top of his priorities for now.
“I’m happy and satisfied at Lazio, but I’m firstly thinking about the World Cup,” the 2010 summer signing from Sao Paulo noted.
“That is what is in my head right now, then we’ll see about a contract extension.”
Hernanes has scored two goals in six League games for the Stadio Olimpico outfit so far this season.
