Francesco Totti’s thigh injury picked up against Inter has been confirmed as nothing serious, so his availability against Napoli is not compromised.
The veteran has undergone tests with the Giallorossi on a suspected thigh strain picked up in Week 7’s 3-0 win at San Siro, which had raised slight doubts for Week 8’s meeting at home with Napoli after the international break.
However, results are that the forward has suffered only a minor strain and that there are no breaks in the muscle.
Subsequently set for a short course of physiotherapy, Totti is anticipated as back to full training within 48 hours and with fitness for Napoli seen as guaranteed.
