Cesare Prandelli hopes that the Stadio San Paolo in Naples can lift his players when they face Armenia on Tuesday.
Italy play the Eastern Europeans in their final World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, and the Coach has admitted that the atmosphere in the southern city is completely unique.
“Naples lives for football,” he told Il Mattino. “It is amazing and unique.
“In my career I have never seen a crowd so passionate and close to their team as the Neapolitans.
“It’s going to be a great game against Armenia, and even though we’ve already qualified, I hope the public come out and see us.”
