Reports in the Italian Press have claimed that Porto midfielder Fernando is angling for a move to Inter.
The Brazilian’s contract with the Portuguese club expires at the end of the season, and is seemingly reticent to sign a new deal with the Dragoes.
And Corriere dello Sport believe that is because he is keen to join the Nerazzurri on a free next summer.
President Pinto da Costa however has not given up on keeping the 26-year-old, and is expected to table a bumper new contract within the next few weeks to try and keep him.
Juventus and Tottenham are also said to be monitoring Fernando’s situation.
