Catania boss Rolando Maran has conceded that his side have to do a lot better after the international break.

The Elefanti have claimed just five points from the first seven games of the season, sitting in 16th place.

And the Coach has admitted that his men have to up their game over the next few weeks.

“Obviously I would like to have everyone available” he told Corriere dello Sport. “But since that can’t happen at the moment, we’ll try to make the best of what’s here.

“It would have been nice to go into the break with two straight wins, rather than a victory over Chievo and a draw with Genoa, but hopefully that dropped point can give us a lift.

“Unfortunately, dropped points result in judgements from other people, but we have to remember that we still have a number of players out injured.”
