Filippo Inzaghi says that Milan’s poor start to the season is down to injuries and presents a difficult position from which to recover.

The Rossoneri come out of October’s international break 12th in Serie A and already 13 points off the pace.

“Milan are paying for a number of injuries, but they are recovering many of the players now,” mused Inzaghi to Milan Channel today.

“It will be hard to make up the points gap with the other direct competitors, but I think that with a full team we can do it.”

The Rossoneri will not play their next match behind closed doors, after the initial one-match stadium ban for supporters was suspended.

“There cannot be a match without supporters, it was right to reopen the stadium to the fans.”
