Emiliano Mondonico has underlined the importance of Miralem Pjanic to Roma’s remarkable start to the season.
The Bosnian has appeared in all seven League games for the Serie A leaders who have a 100 per cent record so far this term.
“Pjanic is a midfielder of the highest level,” the veteran tactician told Centro Suono Sport. “He is a complete player.
“While I was doing a course at Coverciano, a lot was said of the need for us Coaches to form universal players who could attack and defend.
“Pjanic is one of these players…”
The 23-year-old is now in his third season with the Italian capital outfit following his move from Lyon for €11m.
