Torino face Inter this Sunday, and Urbano Cairo is confident that Erick Thohir’s recent takeover won’t affect the Nerazzurri players.
The Indonesian businessman agreed to take on a 70 per cent at San Siro this week, but the Toro chief has insisted that the deal won’t make a difference on the pitch.
“I don’t think that the takeover will affect the Inter players that much,” he told reporters. “But we’ll see in time how the new ownership changes Inter.
“I’d rather not make predictions for Sunday. Inter have done really well at the start of the season and are playing some great football.
“It’s definitely going to be a tough game for us.”
