Napoli have announced Juan Camilo Zuniga will undergo keyhole surgery on his right knee.
The Colombian international had been ruled out of tonight’s Serie A match against Roma, but it seems the injury is considerably worse than previously thought.
The club released a statement confirming Zuniga will have keyhole surgery on his right knee at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome on Monday.
This operation is to eliminate problems caused by surgery eight years ago, which have been aggravated by a recent trauma.
“The recovery time will be determined after the operation has been completed by Professor Mariani.”
