Rossi: 'Incredible comeback!'

Giuseppe Rossi praised his Fiorentina teammates for an “incredible performance” to beat Juventus 4-2.

The Viola were trailing 2-0 up until the 66th minute, then Rossi got a hat-trick around a Joaquin strike to turn it all around for their first home win over Juve in 15 years.

“They are three very important goals, but the team had an incredible performance in the second half,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We reacted so well, we all wanted to fight back and it is down to everyone that we achieved it.”

What could Coach Vincenzo Montella have said at half-time to prompt this fightback?

“Montella told us to give more, as we got a bit scared after the first goal. We listened to him and did what the Coach wanted. We’re so happy.

“Of course this team is built to win. There is great talent on the pitch and in the stands, so we know after this performance that we can challenge anyone.”
