Torino winger Alessio Cerci has thanked fans for their support after he missed a crucial penalty in their 3-3 draw with Inter on Sunday.
The 26-year-old missed from the spot as Il Toro could only claim a point against the Nerazzurri, and the midfielder has admitted that he was thankful for the messages of kindness from supporters.
“For the first time I had a bad feeling after a penalty,” he posted on his official Facebook account.
“I was not in the best of moods, but I want to thank all my fans for their messages of support.
“I realise now that my performance, in general, was good, and that’s the most important thing.”
