The UEFA Youth League doesn’t bode well, as Napoli and Milan lost with Olympique Marseille and Barcelona.
The tournament, introduced this year, is a youth version of the Champions League and has groups mirroring the main competition.
Today Milan under Coach Pippo Inzaghi were hammered 6-2 on home turf by Barcelona’s teenagers, while Celtic beat Ajax 4-1.
The Blaugrana lead Group H on nine points, followed by Milan on six, Celtic with three and Ajax zero.
Napoli also lost today, falling 2-1 away to Olympique Marseille despite taking an early lead.
Arsenal-Borussia Dortmund completes Group F tomorrow, but for the moment the Gunners have six, followed by Napoli, Dortmund and Marseille on three.
