Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono has revealed who will replace the injured duo of Giacomo Bonaventura and Stefano Lucchini this weekend.
The two, who have been ruled out of action for the next three weeks with thigh problems, will be unavailable for Saturday’s tie against Sampdoria.
“I have clear ideas about the starting XI,” Colantuono commented on Friday.
“Franco Brienza, who is in good shape, should come in for Bonaventura. Mario Yepes, meanwhile, will be fielded instead of Lucchini.”
Atalanta have double the amount of points Doria have so far this season – 12 to six – but the tactician respects the side of Delio Rossi.
“It won’t be easy to beat the Blucerchiati, we will be facing a team in form. Samp have re-found their morale and they can count on an excellent Coach.
“It will be a balanced game. The two sides are quite similar, so how we prepare for the match will count for a lot.”
Atalanta squad: Consigli, Polito, Sportiello; Bellini, Brivio, Canini, Del Grosso, Nica, Raimondi, Scaloni, Stendardo, Yepes; Baselli, Brienza, Carmona, Cazzola, Cigarini, Konè, Gagliardini; De Luca, Denis, Livaja, Marilungo, Moralez.
