Fiorentina are one of a number of clubs tracking PSV Eindhoven forward Ola Toivonen, reports suggest.
Several outlets in the Netherlands and Italy claim that the Viola are assessing the Sweden international’s contract situation with the Eredivisie side carefully.
The 27-year-old’s current deal ends in 2014, with negotiations between his representatives and PSV reportedly at a stand-still.
Coach Philipp Cocu has already insisted that they will not go over their budget to keep Toivonen, and that has alerted Vincenzo Montella’s men – but it has also pricked the ears of Juventus, Fulham, Norwich and Newcastle.
The attacker is valued at around €6.5m, but could go for much less than that in January, or for free next summer.
