Parma boss Roberto Donadoni was content with his side’s performance despite the 1-0 loss at Genoa.
After beating Milan at the weekend, the Gialloblu tactician was left frustrated with failing to net at least a point at Marassi.
“This was certainly not a match in which we deserved to go home with zero points,” the former Italy Coach commented.
“We had the game in our hands for an hour, but then we got a bit too nervous. They managed to shut us down and we couldn’t find the space we needed.
“It is never easy to play in a stadium like this, but tonight we really did not deserve to lose.
“Now we have our game against Juventus coming up. We need to start over, but in the knowledge that we are on the right road.
“The performance at Genoa proves that.”
Parma, who are joint tenth in the standings, have won their last three fixtures at the Tardini thanks to victories over Atalanta, Sassuolo and the Diavolo.
