Fiorentina have been boosted by the results of Massimo Ambrosini’s medical tests after he limped out of the 2-0 win at Milan.
The midfielder only made his return to action at the weekend, but came off after just 33 minutes against his former outfit.
Scans have ruled out a tear to the same muscle which had kept him sidelined in recent weeks. He will train separately for the next three or four days before resuming normal service.
However, midfielder Marko Bakic will be out for three weeks after he picked up an ankle problem in training on Friday.
