Parma striker Amauri has rubbished transfer speculation linking him with a possible future in the MLS.
“When we get closer to the transfer window I’m always being sent somewhere…” smiled the Brazilian-born forward to TV Parma.
“But you all know what I think about this club, this city and the fans here.
“I came here again in 2011 and I then returned a little later. I have always said that I’m not leaving this place unless director general Pietro Leonardi sends me away.
“But, given that I know him well, I don’t think that will happen. The transfer rumours thus have no foundation.”
The Italian international, in his third spell with the Gialloblu, has failed to score in nine League games so far this term. He does, however, have two in one Coppa Italia tie.
