Marco Verratti’s agent has revealed the details behind the youngster’s move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move back to Serie A this season, but his representative has confirmed that the economic situation on the peninsula will mean that won’t happen.
“Inter, Milan and Juve all submitted offers to Pescara,” Donato Di Campli told Tuttosport.
“But then came PSG. The presence of Ancelotti at the time played an important factor in Marco’s move there.
“The current economic situation in Italy means there won’t be any deal with a Serie A club.”
