The ex-Milan star lasted just six Serie B games on the Palermo bench before he was sacked by Zamparini.
“He called me once in the middle of the night,” Gattuso told French site So Foot.
“You can always call me, 24 hours a day, but the problem is that he knows nothing about football. He doesn’t understand it at all and he’s a hypocrite too.”
