Javier Zanetti believes he can make his Inter comeback against Livorno this Saturday after Achilles tendon surgery.
The right-back has been out of action since rupturing his Achilles tendon in April, an injury that many feared would end his career.
However, the 40-year-old has recovered in record time and was already on the bench for their 3-0 win at Udinese.
“I am close to my return to the field,” Zanetti told Radio RTL. “In Udine my teammates gave us a wonderful victory and I was on the bench, but I feel fine now.
“On Saturday we face Livorno and I hope there can be the opportunity for me to play a few minutes. We’ll see.”
