Parma star Marco Parolo is expected to be the only new face in the Italy squad to face Germany and Nigeria.
Cesare Prandelli will name his call-ups for the two international friendlies this evening and many reports suggest Parolo is on the list.
It would be the first call for the 28-year-old central midfielder, who has scored five goals and provided two assists in 11 Serie A games this season.
Italy have already qualified for the 2014 World Cup, so face Germany at San Siro on November 15 and Nigeria at London’s Craven Cottage on November 18.
