Genoa have been revitalised since Gian Piero Gasperini replaced Fabio Liverani on the bench, winning three of their last four games.

Gilardino has been an essential part of that and he leads the attack with support from Juraj Kucka and Fetfatzidis.

Emanuele Calaio and Francesco Lodi are available again, though Alessandro Gamberini and Mario Alberto Santana are still sidelined.

Verona have been a revelation in Serie A this season, going into the weekend in joint fourth position with Inter.

Toni is proving he’s still got what it takes at the top level, flanked by Juan Manuel Iturbe and Bosko Jankovic with Jorginho pulling the midfield strings.

Gomez Taleb and Ezequiel Cirigliano are unavailable, but Evangelos Moras returns in defence after his two-match ban.
