Juventus plan Terry swoop

There are reports Juventus are preparing a swoop for Chelsea captain John Terry if he doesn’t renew his contract.

The veteran defender’s current deal expires at the end of the season and so far negotiations have not progressed far.

According to Swiss media Infoticker and Italy’s calcionews24, Juve are lying in wait and hoping to snatch him up on a Bosman.

The Bianconeri have specialised in such shrewd transfer tactics recently, picking up Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Fernando Llorente for free.

However, they aren’t the only contenders should Terry walk away from Chelsea, as Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray are also thought to be interested.
