Cagliari have officially signed former Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan Garrido. “I am very happy to be here.”
The 26-year-old shot-stopper arrived as a free agent, as he was out of contract and can therefore make his debut this weekend.
“My first thought is for the victims of the enormous catastrophe that struck Sardinia,” he told the official Cagliari website after flash floods killed at least 18.
“I am very happy to be here. I want to thank the President and the club for this great opportunity.”
Adan will wear the number 26 jersey and was drafted in following an injury to Michael Agazzi.
